About Us

Caregivers Services Professional Institute (CSPI) is a care-giving service training institution. It is a privately-owned vocational facility with its registered office located at Level 2, Pacific Properties Building at 32 - 38 Cumming Street, Suva, Fiji Islands.

We are also registered and recognized by the Ministry of Education and we have gained a full recognition by the Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC) after satisfactorily meeting all the necessary requirements.

The institution is specialized in the provision of care-giving training services based on a United States care-giving training program to people who are interested in becoming professional elderly care-givers. Since the elderly care services industry is one of the fastest growing businesses under the Health Care sector in the world market today, CSPI capitalizes on the success of this industry by providing better skilled care-givers in Fiji who can find work both locally and abroad. To ensure that the trainees become the best in the field, CSPI employs very qualified staffs who are registered nurses with training experience from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific countries.

Furthermore, in the pursuit of EXECELLENCE, CSPI has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health (MOU) for practical attachment of the students who are being trained by CSPI. Trainees are given guided hands-on training to 'get- it right' when employing different work skills or using clinical equipment. CSPI has not stopped there BUT has now a pathway for students who would like to further their studies abroad specifically in New Zealand. This has come about through a partnership with the Auckland Goldstar Institute (AGI) in a signed and sealed agreement which allows only CSPI students to enroll in this institution and further up-skill themselves in a Diploma Level course in terms of Health Care. This in turn makes the student very marketable in the job market hence increasing the opportunity of finding employment overseas. Management and its Board of Directors who run the school are guided by a 'Code of Ethics' in their operation of this business that provides an alternative employment opportunity for those wanting a change in their scope of work.
